Upendra Yadav leads by 874 votes in Bara-2

Upendra Yadav of Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) continues to lead the vote count in the Bara-2 by-election.

As per the latest results, Yadav has secured 4,717 votes to take a lead of 874 votes against Shiva Chandra Kushwaha of Janamat Party. Kushwaha has received 3,843 votes so far.

Purushottam Paudel of CPN-UML is third with 1,937 votes, while Ramesh Kharel of Rastriya Swatantra Party is further behind with 752 votes.

Arun Gyawali of Aam Janata Party has 311 votes.
