The National Assembly by-election will be held on February 8.

The Cabinet meeting on Thursday decided to hold the National Assembly by-election on February 8, a minister told Setopati.

A National Assembly seat had fallen vacant after Khimlal Bhattarai resigned before the House of Representatives election. Bhattarai was elected from Lumbini province.
