Balen Shah extends lead over Sthapit to 5,010 votes

Independent candidate for mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City Balen Shah has built a lead of more than 5,000 votes over Keshav Sthapit of CPN-UML.

Shah has secured 10,797 votes to lead Sthapit who has got 5,787 votes by 5,010 as per the latest update.

Sirjana Singh of Nepali Congress (NC) is third with 5,074 votes.

Shah's vote tally is almost equal to the combined tallies of Sthapit and Singh.
