NC leaders Gagan Thapa, Arjun Narsingh KC test positive

Nepali Congress (NC) leaders including central members Gagan Thapa and Arjun Narsingh KC have tested positive for COVID-19 on Saturday.

The main opposition party had been collecting swab of around 250 persons including central members at the central office since two days ago. Leaders including Thapa, KC and invited central member Shambhu Lal Shrestha have tested positive. Many others have also been suspected to have been infected.

Thapa has taken to the social media Saturday night to confirm his infection. "My health is normal and I am in home isolation. I request everyone who have been in contact with me in the intervening period to exercise caution and seek medical consultation in case of any problem," Thapa has posted.
