Fourteen districts across the country are currently under partial or complete prohibitory orders to fight the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Home Ministry issuing a notice on Wednesday has said prohibitory orders are in place in the whole district in Parsa, Bara, Sarlahi, Saptari, Banke and Syangja. The prohibitory orders are for indefinite period in the first three districts, until August 10 in Saptari, August 8 in Banke and August 7 in Syangja.
Similarly, Janakpur Sub-metropolitan City and some areas of Chhireshworenath municipality will be under prohibitory orders until August 9.
Nuwakot is also under prohibitory orders from Boharabhanjyang in the east, Naya Chautara in the west, Bageshwori Bhanjyang in the north and Pokharidanda in the south.
Prohibitory orders will continue in Biratnagar Metropolitan City of Morang until August 14 while the restrictions in Jaleshwore municipality and Mahottari rural municipality in the vicinity of district headquarters of Mahottari will end Wednesday evening.
Similarly, Birtamode municipality of Jhapa is under prohibitory orders for indefinite period and Arjundhara municipality of the district until Thursday.
Barahakshetra municipality 6, 7 and 8 of Sunsari are under prohibitory orders for indefinite period while the restrictions will remain in Kedarsyun rural municipality 6 and 7 of Bajhang until August 16.
Marma rural municipality of Darchula is also under prohibitory orders for indefinite period.
