CPN standing committee meeting postponed

The standing committee meeting of ruling CPN has again been postponed.

The meeting was scheduled to start at 11 Tuesday morning. A standing committee member confirmed with Setopati that a notice has been received informing about its postponement by two hours.

The standing committee meeting has been stalled since July 2. It has been repeatedly postponed to try to resolve the internal dispute.

The party had convened secretariat meeting on Saturday but the meeting could not resolve the dispute despite the warring Chairmen KP Sharma Oli and Pushpa Kamal Dahal displaying conciliatory tone.
