CPN standing committee meeting postponed yet again

The stalled standing committee meeting of ruling CPN has been postponed yet again.

Secretaries with the party's central office Sriram Dhakal and Ishwori Rijal issuing a statement on Sunday have said that the meeting scheduled for three Sunday afternoon has been postponed till Tuesday. The statement has not revealed the reason for postponement.

The standing committee meeting has been stalled since July 2. It has been repeatedly postponed to try to resolve the internal dispute.

The party had convened secretariat meeting on Saturday but the meeting could not resolve the dispute despite the warring Chairmen KP Sharma Oli and Pushpa Kamal Dahal displaying conciliatory tone.
