Six secretariat members of ruling CPN have concluded that Prime Minister (PM) KP Sharma Oli should obey party decision.
The meeting held at the residence of CPN Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal in Khumaltar Thursday morning has also decided to resume the stalled standing committee meeting.
Senior leaders Jhala Nath Khanal, Madhav Kumar Nepal, Vice-chairman Bam Dev Gautam Spokesperson Narayan Kaji Shrestha and Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa talked with Dahal during the meeting.
"We should now resume the meeting. We cannot always postpone it," a party source stated. "We should first discuss in the standing committee. Prime Minister must obey that."
Dahal and Nepal reached Baluwatar to talk with PM KP Sharma Oli after the meeting in Khumaltar.
The standing committee meeting has been stalled since July 2.
