CPN Spokesperson Narayan Kaji Shrestha has slammed the Indian media for baseless propaganda against the Nepal government and Prime Minister (PM) KP Sharma Oli.
Shrestha, who is also member of the nine-strong secretariat of the ruling party, has called the Indian propaganda bullshit and demanded it be stopped. "The unrestrained propaganda by the Indian media about our government and PM has crossed the limits. It is too much. Stop the bullshit. We are together for our national sovereignty and territorial integrity. Will not allow the policy of foreigners to divide and fulfill their interests. It is up to us to decide what to do here," Shrestha has tweeted on Thursday.
The Indian media has been presenting baseless and exaggerated reports about rising Chinese influence in Nepal and PM Oli after the government issued a new map including Kalapani, Lipu Lekh and Limpiyadhura encroached by India. It has been openly calling for Indian intervention to oust Oli.
The Times of India recently published an insulting sketch of PM Oli while the Indian news channels have stooped too low even by their usual standard and claimed that Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Hou Yanqi has 'honeytrapped' Oli.
