Nepali Congress (NC) lawmaker Gagan Thapa claimed that government ministers have started to ask about WhatsApp fearing that their phones may be tapped.
Speaking during the discussion on Nepal Special Service bill in the House of Representatives (HoR), Thapa said 'The clause 10 has provision for surveillance, monitoring and interception of any individual, organization and media or telephone tapping in simple words."
"A few journalist friends say that some ministers refuse to talk over telephone and ask if they are on WhatsApp even now," Thapa added.
