The government offices will be operated in two shifts.
Revealing the decisions taken during the Cabinet meeting Wednesday night that decided to relax lockdown in three stages, Government Spokesperson and Finance Minister Yuba Raj Khatiwada on Thursday said the first shift will start from eight in the morning and last till one in the afternoon, and the next from one in the afternoon till six in the evening.
He added that two shifts will be implemented from June 15 to ensure there is no crowd of service-seekers at offices.
The government has also decided to implement odd-even system for private vehicles. The vehicles cannot, however, go to another district, and there can be only two passengers in four-wheelers and no pillion-rider in two-wheelers.
He added that government and private offices can also operate vehicles to carry their staffers. "Only one person can be seated in one row of seats and all safety measures, including wearing face masks, will have to be implemented for that."
