PM to answer questions about budget

Prime Minister (PM) KP Sharma Oli will answers questions raised about the budget for Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in the House on Wednesday. He will also speak about the health issues.

The main opposition Nepali Congress (NC) had demanded PM's response claiming that the government has failed in control of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The government plans to pass the budget from the House of Representatives (HoR) Wednesday after the PM's reply. It had planned to pass it Tuesday itself but postponed that by a day.

The HoR meeting on Tuesday also provided approval in principle to the Constitution amendment bill to implement the new map.
