Government's policy and programs passed by majority

Kathmandu, May 19

The government's policy and programs for the fiscal year 2077/78 has been passed by the House through majority on Tuesday.

It has been passed on the basis of majority despite the opposition parties including the main opposition Nepali Congress (NC) opposing it.

Speaker Agni Sapkota declared it passed by majority through voice vote.

President Bidya Devi Bhandari had presented the policy and programs to the federal parliament on behalf of he government on Friday.
