Prime Minister (PM) KP Sharma Oli has said it is not time to relax the lockdown yet.
He has stated that the modality to relax lockdown prepared by the COVID-19 Crisis Management Center (CCMC) is not needed now.
"The CCMC had brought a proposal to demarcate different parts as green, yellow and red zones," a minister told Setopati. "PM said it may not be time to mark zones yet, do consider." .
PM Oli also instructed to not be complacent feeling we are out of danger as infection is rising in India and we have yet to do the tests on necessary scale. A joint meeting of the CCMC and the high level coordination committee to fight COVID-19 was held at Baluwatar on Tuesday.
The meeting of coordination committee on Monday had discussed about changing the modality of lockdown and relaxing it at places without spread of infection. But it had decided to mark Kathmandu Valley as a high risk zone.
The modality for relaxing lockdown was prepared by the CCMC as per the committee's instruction.
