Speaker Sapkota urges PM Oli to convene budget session of parliament

Kathmandu, April 29

Speaker Agni Sapkota has urged Prime Minister (PM) KP Sharma Oli to convene the budget session of federal parliament.

Meeting PM Oli on Wednesday, Speaker Sapkota has advised to not delay the budget session pointing at the need for bringing the government's policies and programs, and pre-budget discussion.

He has briefed Oli that House meeting can be conducted by observing social distancing measures.

Oli is scheduled for an observation visit of the federal parliament in a while. Acting General Secretary of the federal parliament secretariat Gopal Nath Yogi told Setopati that PM Oli, National Assembly chair and law minister will soon visit the parliament.
