Reactionaries are trying to weaken CPN: Dahal

CPN Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has accused domestic and foreign reactionaries of trying to weaken CPN after unification.

Issuing a press statement on the 71^st anniversary of communist party in Nepal, Dahal has said defeating the conspiracies of reactionaries, and preparing the groundwork for socialism by respecting the people's mandate and will remain the historic duty of CPN.

"Party unity can be further bolstered through open discussions inside the party keeping the people at the center, and exploring the truth through facts," Dahal says. "I also appeal all the leaders and cadres to make positive and constructive contribution toward that."

Pointing federal republicanism, socialism-oriented Constitution and others as achievements, he called for institutionalization of the achievements and to be ready for socialist revolution.

Stating that coronavirus crisis has become a new challenge for the whole humankind, he urged everyone to cooperate with the government's efforts.
