Lockdown extended until April 27

Kathmandu, April 14

The government has extended the nationwide lockdown until April 27.

The Cabinet meeting Tuesday afternoon has decided to extend the lockdown by 12 days, according to a minister.

The government on March 23 had announced nationwide lockdown for a week effective from the next day. The government a day earlier had also decided to shut down all border points with India and China.

The lockdown has since been extended thrice.
