Investment Board CEO Adhikari appointed NRB governor

Kathmandu, April 6

The government has appointed Maha Prasad Adhikari the governor of Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB).

The Cabinet meeting Monday afternoon has decided to appoint the Investment Board Nepal chief executive officer to the top post of the central bank, according to a minister.

The position was vacant since the term of Chiranjeevi Nepal expired on February 16.
