Minister of State for Urban Development Ram Bir Manandhar has urged the commoners inside the Kathmandu Valley to call him directly should they face any problem.
Giving his cell number (9851159592) the CPN lawmaker from Kathmandu-7 has sad he is ready to help the commoners facing problems during the lockdown and urged them to call him or his personal secretaries Om Rajbahak and Jaya Prakash Shrestha.
Stating that the government is careful that the lockdown does not hit the daily life of people across the country, he has expressed readiness to work for those inside the Valley considering the limitations of those staying in urban areas.
"There are over 40,000 representatives across the country. It would be even higher if we also count those getting government appointments. The people need not suffer in hunger if everyone were to pay attention in their constituencies," he reasoned. "This is also an opportunity to serve the people when the people's representatives are accused of ignoring the people. I will help in whatever way I can if anyone contacts me after facing problems."
Pointing that the government has already brought a relief package and trying its utmost at the time when the whole world is being ravaged by the pandemic, he also urged the people to help the government by staying in their homes.
