Term of 19 National Assembly members will end from Tuesday.
The lawmakers from ruling CPN, main opposition Nepali Congress (NC), Socialist Party Nepal, Rastriya Janata Party Nepal (RJP), and one nominated by the president will complete their two-year term on Tuesday.
The National Assembly allotted five minutes to speak to the 19 lawmakers who are bidding farewell, and the lawmakers shared about their experience.
Finance Minister Yuba Raj Khatiwada, nominated by the president on recommendation of the government, leader of the main opposition NC Surendra Raj Pandey and others will end their term today.
Eighteen lawmakers have already been elected for the National Assembly to replace the outgoing ones. They are scheduled to be sworn in on Wednesday.
President will nominate a member on recommendation of the Cabinet to replace Khatiwada.
