Prime Minister (PM) KP Sharma Oli will not address the House on Friday. PM Oli has postponed the scheduled address on request of the main opposition Nepali Congress (NC).
NC had written to the parliament secretariat urging the PM to not address the House after the party's National Assembly member Durga Prasad Upadhyaya passed away on Friday.
PM' press advisor Surya Thapa confirmed that Oli will now address the House at 11 Saturday morning. He revealed that the PM's address has been potponed due to demise of lawmaker Upadhyay.
