Prime Minister (PM) KP Sharma Oli will participate in the 'People's War' Day to be celebrated by ruling CPN.
The then Maoists used to celebrate the day they started the war in 1996 as 'People's War' Day. Ruling CPN formed after unification of the then CPN-UML and CPN (Maoist Center) last year had marked the day as Janaandolan and 'People's War' Day. But Oli had not attended the program.
The program to be organized at the party office in Dhumbarahi this year will have both the chairmen, Oli and Pushpa Kamal Dahal, in attendance, according to a notice issued by secretaries at the central office Sriram Dhakal and Ishwori Rizal.
