The main opposition Nepali Congress (NC) has decided to obstruct the House of Representatives (HoR) meeting even on Friday.
The NC parliamentary party meeting earlier on Friday took the decision to obstruct the House stating the corruption case filed against NC Vice-president Bijay Kumar Gachchhadar is one-sided and politically motivated.
NC had obstructed the House even on Thursday.
The constitutional anti-graft body on Wednesday lodged corruption case against 175 individuals including Gachchhadar, two other former ministers and its former chief Deep Basnet in Baluwatar land grab.
NC has raised two questions about the corruption case lodged with the Special Court. It has asked why the prime ministers who led the council of ministers that included Gachchhadar as a minister were not charged, and why son of CPN General Secretary Bishnu Paudel was not charged.
