Prime Minister (PM) and CPN Chairman KP Sharma Oli has claimed that a propaganda war has been waged against the government and ruling party.
"Propaganda war, rather attack, has been waged against us," Oli fumed while inaugurating the second full meeting of the CPN central committee on Wednesday. He, however, did not elaborate about the propaganda war.
"We will answer through results and works, not debate," he added.
He rued questions being raised about his devotion toward democracy and urged everybody to evaluate things rising above ideological prejudice.
He claimed that the government has rescued people from the streets and expressed commitment to not let anyone die of hunger.
He stressed that revolution will not happen by flowing in emotion. "We should not flow with emotion and stress on realities," he opined. He also called for ideological clarity in party leaders and cadres.
