CPN Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has claimed that the ruling party will secure two-third majority in the next general election.
He stated that the works of government and party in the next three years will win the party a two-third majority. "We have guaranteed through the works of government and party that we will secure two-third majority on our own," Dahal said addressing a program organized at Icchakamana rural municipality of Chitwan on Sunday.
He added that the party will organize programs across the country after the central committee meeting to inject enthusiasm among the cadres.
He opined that the party lost at some places during the by-election that it should not have due to lack of lively relation between the party and people. "We lost at some places where we hadn't even imagined we will lose," he quipped.
He conceded that development works have not been as prompt as the people want.
He also revealed the government is taking diplomatic initiative to bring back Limpiyadhura, Kalapani and Lipu Lekh encroached by India. "This is also an opportunity to remove Indian Army from Kalapani. We will resolve border disputes through diplomatic initiative."
He reiterated his stance that Nepal will not cede even an inch of her land to others or take even an inch of foreign land.
