Indian Minister for External Affairs Subrahmanyam Jaishankar arrived in Kathmandu on Wednesday on a two-day official visit at the invitation of Minister of Foreign Affairs Pradeep Kumar Gyawali.
He arrived here to take part in the fifth meeting of Nepal-India Joint Commission kicking off today in the capital. He landed in Tribhuvan International Airport from Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh.
Foreign Secretary Shankar Das Bairagi and Indian Ambassador to Nepal, Manjeev Singh Puri, were at the TIA VIP Lounge to receive the Indian minister.
