CPN Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said he discussed Cabinet reshuffle with fellow chairman and Prime Minister (PM) KP Sharma Oli.
Speaking with journalists in Kaski Thursday morning, Dahal said the two leaders deliberated about some sort of Cabinet reshuffle after presentation of the budget. "But we have not reached a decision to reshuffle immediately. It will be reshuffled when PM wishes," Dahal added.
He said the chairman duo discussed concluding unification process soon during the meeting on Wednesday, and the secretariat meeting has been called for Friday accordingly.
He pointed that the comment about his confidence in Oli making way for him to lead the government after two and half years is nothing new and he was just reminding the agreement reached for operation of the party and government.
He added that Oli can lead for the full term of five years if the leaders reach a new agreement.
He said making unification a success is the only condition now and stressed that nobody should take unification and commitments made at the time of unification lightly.
