India has handed over Rs 1.60 billion to the government for post-earthquake reconstruction.
Indian Ambassador to Nepal Manjeev Singh Puri handed over the amount to Finance Minister Yuba Raj Khatiwada amidst a program organized at the Finance Ministry on Monday.
The amount will be spent on reconstruction in Nuwakot and Gorkha districts.
The Indian government in 2018 had also provided Rs 2.108 billion for post-earthquake reconstruction.
India had pledged assistance of US$ 1 billion during the international conference held after the Gorkha Earthquake of April 25, 2015.
