PM Oli's voice becomes hoarse during Republic Day speech

Prime Minister (PM) KP Sharma Oli's voice suddenly became hoarse while he was addressing a Republic Day function at Tundikhel Wednesday. He stood back from the microphone and drank a glass of water but his voice did not clear even after that. His voice became difficult to understand toward the end of his speech. PM Oli's personal doctor Divya Singh said his voice became hoarse only for a short time. "That can happen at times. He apparently spoke without any discomfort after that program," Dr Singh said.
