Minister Yadav distributes relief to storm survivors

Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies Matrika Prasad Yadav Thursday distributed relief materials to the survivors of the Sunday storm of Birgunj metropolitan city-22. Minister Yadav inspected Jagarnathpur area and distributed relief materials on behalf of the federal government. The total 209 storm affected families received a 30 kilograms sack of rice each and other food items like pulses, salt and cooking oil. Addressing the event, minister Yadav pledged government's support in providing relief and in the treatment of the injured. He clarified that he reached the area with a message from the federal government that it was always with those affected by the disaster. He also urged local leaders and cadres of various parties, civil society, industrialists and businessperson to help in relief and rescue efforts to the victims.
