Prime Minister (PM) KP Sharma Oli has claimed that his government does not believe in big talks.
Addressing the inaugural session of National Development Council meeting in Kathmandu on Wednesday PM Oli stated that the government is not here for debate competition and claimed that this government has blacktopped the largest stretch of roads in history.
"This government has not been formed for guff. It has been formed to alleviate poverty and hunger," PM Oli said. "I want to tell those who point that we should not just talk but do works: Tuins (wire bridges) have been displaced and people comfortably use suspension bridge nowadays."
Pointing that the people's government is at the helm and nobody will die of hunger, he stated that the government stresses on producing agricultural products without using pesticides. He claimed that the government will mechanize and modernize agriculture.
"Some have an illusion that mechanization cuts employment. But Mechanization will increase employment opportunities not cut it," he added.
He revealed that the government is paying attention on education and claimed there will be no children of school-going age outside the school from this year. "There will be no uneducated person in the country by the end of 15th Plan."
