Sita Dahal leaves for Delhi for health checkup

Sita Dahal, wife of CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, has left for New Delhi, India for treatment. Sita has gone for regular health checkup, according to Dahal’s secretariat. Her daughters, Mayor of Bharatpur Metropolitan City Renu Dahal and Ganga Dahal, are also accompanying her during the trip. Sita has diabetes, hypertension and thyroid problems, according to press coordinator of Maoist Chairman Dahal Manahari Timalsina. Her health has deteriorated in the past few weeks after death of the only son Prakash Dahal. Chairman Dahal had left the Lazimpat residence, where Prakash had breathed his last, after she complained of insomnia following the death of Prakash. The Dahals currently live in Khumaltar, Lalitpur.
