The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police has raided the office of the Dairy Development Corporation (DDC).
A team from the CIB arrived at the DDC office in Lainchaur early Wednesday morning, according to Additional Inspector General Manoj KC.
He said that the police team went there after receiving certain information related to the DDC. While confirming that it is a matter under investigation, he did not disclose further details.
According to a source at the DDC office, the CIB has seized some documents.
This development comes shortly after Prime Minister Balendra Shah shared a picture on social media to promote DDC’s yak cheese.
