The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) is preparing to register a corruption case against 55 individuals, including five former ministers and eight former secretaries, and one company alleging irregularities in the construction of Pokhara International Airport.
The case is currently in the process of being filed in the Special Court.
According to sources at the Special Court, the former ministers facing prosecution include Post Bahadur Bogati, Ram Sharan Mahat, Bhim Acharya, Ram Kumar Shrestha, and Deepak Amatya.
Among them, former minister Bogati has already passed away, while Mahat is suffering from Alzheimer’s disease.
