Another burnt body of a young woman has been found inside a building that was set on fire by protestors in Lakeside, Pokhara.
According to the Baidam Ward Police Office, the burnt body was discovered in a building owned by the Anshubhara Group in Lakeside. The police stated that the body was so severely burned that only bones remained.
Police suspect that the body found in Lakeside could be that of a woman who worked for the Anshubhara Group. This discovery follows an earlier incident where another body of a young woman was found while extinguishing a fire at an auto showroom in Nayabazar, Pokhara. Neither of the two young women found has been identified. Both the commercial buildings belong to Gandaki's Minister for Social Development Bindu Kumar Thapa.
Potestors vandalized and set fire to both of these buildings on Tuesday. Kaski Police Chief SP Shyam Babu Oliya reported that the burnt body has been sent to the Pokhara Academy of Health Sciences for autopsy.
