Three people died when a microbus traveling from Kathmandu to Pokhara met with an accident on Wednesday.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Hari Bahadur Basnet, information officer of Kaski police, said that one of the deceased has been identified as 51-year-old Dhang Maya Gurung of Hemja, Pokhara-25, while the identities of the other two victims have yet to be confirmed.
Eleven people were traveling on the microbus (registration number Ga 1 Ja 8630). Among them, three have been discharged after minor treatment, while five others are currently being treated at the Pokhara Academy of Health Sciences.
Police reported that the accident occurred in Pokhara's Lame Ahal area after the microbus veered off the road and plunged downhill.
