Death toll from floods and landslides reaches 193

Kathmandu, Sept 30

The death toll from floods and landslides triggered by incessant rainfall from Thursday night to Saturday in different parts of the country has risen to 193.

According to the Nepal Police Headquarters, 193 people have died in floods and landslides as of Monday morning.

Another 96 people have been injured, while 31 others are still missing.

Police said 3,705 people have been rescued from different parts of the country.
