People with disabilities protest against non-implementation of agreement by govt (Pictures)

People with disabilities held a demonstration against the government in Kathmandu on Wednesday for not implementing an agreement reached with them in March.

The Ministry of Women, Children and Senior Citizens reached an agreement with a group representing people with disabilities on March 27.

It was said at the time that the agreement would be implemented within a month. But the demonstrators said that the agreement has not come into effect yet.

Police have detained some of the demonstrators.
