A man who returned from China has been kept in isolation ward at the Seti Provincial Hospital in Dhangadi on suspicion of COVID-19.
Doctor at the hospital Jagadish Joshi told Setopati that the person has been kept in isolation on Thursday after complaints of fever and chest pain. "We have collected his samples yesterday itself and preparing to send them to Kathmandu today," Dr Joshi said.
Coronavirus tests can currently be done only at the National Public Health Laboratory in Teku, Kathmandu.
He revealed that all three persons previously kept in isolation there tested negative for the virus.
The hospital currently has two isolation beds.
