Gyanendra Shahi of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has been elected to the House of Representatives from Jumla.
Shahi won the election securing 14,816 votes. His closest rival, Naresh Bhandari of the Nepali Communist Party (NCP), received 11,635 votes, resulting in a victory margin of 3,181 votes for Shahi.
Deep Bahadur Shahi of the Nepali Congress finished third with 7,143 votes.
Shantilal Mahat of the CPN-UML received 4,518 votes, while Binita Kathayat of the Rastriya Swatantra Party got only 421 votes.
