Voter turnout 60 percent: Election Commission

Kathmandu, March 5

The Election Commission has stated that voter turnout was 60% in the House of Representatives (HoR) election held on Thursday.

Acting Chief Election Commissioner Ram Prasad Bhandari shared that 60% voters cast their votes during a press conference organized Thursday evening. He also mentioned that voting is still ongoing in some locations.

While the polling time was scheduled until 5:00 PM, those who had already entered the polling stations by that time will still be allowed to cast their votes.
