Ex-PM Bhattarai and Indian Defense Minister Rajnath Singh hold meeting

Chairman of the Nepal Samajwadi Party (Naya Shakti) and former prime minister Baburam Bhattarai held a meeting with India's Defense Minister Rajnath Singh in New Delhi on Monday.

During the meeting, the two leaders held positive discussions on strengthening Nepal-India relations and taking development and economic cooperation to new heights, Bhattarai's secretariat said.

Chairman Bhattarai strongly condemned the recent terrorist attack on civilians in Pahalgam, Kashmir, expressing deep sorrow over the incident.

Bhattarai is currently in India to participate in the convention of the Progressive Nepali Society Committee, India.
