CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal has said that the party will take a decision on Tuesday regarding whether to give the vote of confidence to the present government.
Nepal said that a secretariat meeting has been called for Tuesday morning to discuss the matter.
“Decision will be taken on whether to give the vote of confidence to this government or not after discussing in the party secretariat meeting tomorrow morning,” Nepal told journalists at the Parliament building in New Baneshwar on Monday.
Unified Socialist has 10 lawmakers in the House of Representatives.
There are differing views on the matter within the party, with some leaders in favor of supporting the government and some against it. But the party has not held formal discussion on the matter.
Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal is set to take the floor test in Parliament Tuesday.
