CPN Chairman and Prime Minister (PM) KP Sharma Oli has claimed that the government is moving forward integrating equality with prosperity.
Issuing a statement to mark the 42nd death anniversary of CPN founder Pushpa Lal Shrestha on Wednesday, Oli has added that he has been working hard for prosperity. "Party is the medium to make the country prosperous. It is imperative for us to move forward in a unified manner to make the country prosperous and the people happy by making the party strong. We have, therefore, brought the national aspiration of 'Prosperous Nepal, Happy Nepalis.' We are doing all kinds of works that were not and could not be done earlier," the statement reads.
"Pushpa Lal's policies in today's context are these only. Let's combine capital and technology in our efforts, and raise production and exports, and slash imports. We can achieve prosperity through this way."
He claimed that significant works have been done to realize Pushpa Lal's dreams and a divided communist movement has become unified, nationwide and strong. "The party has secured the main spot with almost two-third majority. We have fulfilled the organizational and political wishes of Pushpa Lal to a large extent."
