Prime Minister (PM) KP Sharma Oli on Saturday has instructed all seven chief ministers (CM) to not compromise on the lockdown.
Talking with the CMs from the PM's Office in Singha Durbar through video conferencing, PM Oli asked the CMs to strictly enforce the lockdown. "Countries like America, Italy, France and Britain have not been able to control coronavirus. This doesn't recognize minister, CM or anyone. Let's not take it lightly," a source quoted PM Oli as saying.
While pointing that attention should be paid to ensure that the people do not face hardship, he warned the CMs to not get carried away with emotion. "Lockdown is lockdown. It should be observed strictly. No compromise!"
