Prime Minister (PM) KP Sharma Oli has claimed that the government is busy in building a corruption-free and prosperous Nepal with good governance.
"There is no meaning of rumors. I urge you all to not believe the rumors that nothing is being done," PM Oli said addressing a tea party organized by the ruling CPN at Bhrikuti Mandap on Wednesday.
He pointed that airports are being built and upgraded, roads are being constructed and petroleum pipeline has come into operation. "We have to build a corruption-free and prosperous Nepal replete with good governance in a unified manner without believing in rumors," he stated. "We also have to keep the people happy apart from that."
He stressed that the government is working and asked the naysayers to open their eyes to see that.
He added that he has created investment-friendly environment in the country and claimed that the government is talking with the Indian government to end inundation in the plains during the monsoon due to the unilateral construction of dams across the border.
"We have a status equal to that of big countries. We have to build the country ourselves. There is no need to maintain animosity and indulge in inappropriate competition," he opined.
