The Federal Socialist Forum-Nepal (FSF-N) and Naya Shakti Party have started discussions for party unification.
Naya Shakti Party has summoned secretariat meeting on May 3 to discuss party unification. Meanwhile, the FSF-N has scheduled the meeting on May 4.
"We are holding discussion over unification. Until now, discussion about party unification issues are positive," a Naya Shakti Party leader told Setopati, "However, there's no such development. Wait until May 3."
The source also informed that the to-be-unified party will have two chairmen as in the ruling Communist Party of Nepal.
Earlier, Naya Shakti in the local election had used the election symbol of FSF-N.
