DPM Pokharel highlights need of practical education

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defence Ishwor Pokharel has said a base has been created to transform the existing education system into a practical one. In his address to the 56th anniversary celebrations of Tangal Secondary here Friday, Pokharel highlighted the need of a change in Nepal’s education system, which according to him, lacked practical applications. “Now a base for the same has been built and the government is planning to implement the technical education basing upon the same ground.” He took a time to assure that people need not wait for more to see the results of development. On the occasion, he awarded the students securing outstanding results in final exams of various grades.
