NC candidate Chaudhary wins from Bara-1

Nepali Congress (NC) candidate Umakanta Chaudhary has registered his win in the election to the House of Representatives from Bara Constituency-1. Chaudhary obtained 24,450 votes to secure his seat as a member of the House of Representatives. His arch-rival, Achyut Mainali, of the CPN-UML received 22,030 votes. Likewise, Dipendra Sonal of Rastriya Janata Party-Nepal secured his win in the State Assembly from Bara Constituency 4 (B). Sonal obtained 13,118 votes. His close contender Umesh Kusuwaha of the CPN (Maoist Center) received 5,897 votes, informed Chief Returning Officer Prakash Kharel.
