A Nepali national has been killed in a drone attack in Kuwait.
According to the Embassy of Nepal, 44-year-old Som Kumar Tamang of Tehrathum, who was working as a driver, was killed in a drone strike on Thursday.
In an official statement, the embassy paid tribute to the deceased and expressed condolences to the bereaved family.
The embassy also said that the necessary procedures are underway to repatriate Tamang’s body to Nepal.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also issued a statement on Friday expressing sorrow over the incident. It condemned the attack on the Nepali citizen.
The ministry urged all parties to resolve problems through dialogue and diplomatic means.
